Sunday morning

Bombay Central, 9.15 pm : Nothing's changed. The beggars are still there. The same one's at the same places. They have their tiles earmarked for them. Can't be interchanged.

============================
NDTV had a whole segment on Mumbai's famous locals this morning. The crew however shot the segment in non-peak hours (Obviously! As if they'd be able to get in , camera, lights and all : wouldn't the doorway mafia absolutely shred them to peices?!)

Central Railway and the Harbour line has it better than WR anyday. They even have train theatre on the HLine.

And did you know, at peak hours, a train leaves every 3 seconds?! Wow. (It's still not enough!) ;-)

Wedding pictures out. Not a single nice one of mine. Hmmm. This photographer is not going to be there at the next family event. I've had to kill him.

Maybe we'll just have to re-do the whole wedding again. Family, are you listening?

Sunday morning.

First thing I did this morning was .........I woke up! Couldn't open my eyes. Finally succeeded after a while. Looked in the mirror. Eeeks! Right eyelid had a swelling. No sty. Left eye Red. Very scary.

Mr.R is on another continent. And he has conjunctivitis. I know we're soulmates, but this is taking things a tad too far. Surely infectious diseases can't spread over telepathy or telephones. Must investigate. If it does, I'm very worried!!

Mr.R calls from his holiday. Am glad he's having a good time. He deserves it!

Watched "The Hours" last night on Zee MGM. Very nice! What powerful actors these women are : Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep and Julianna Moore. Very well acted and directed.
PS :Everytime a character thought about suicide, I wanted to say "Call the Samaritans! You'll feel better!". Restrained myself.

Mid morning prognosis : Eyes back to normal. Whew! That's a relief. Getting leave to nurse a red eye would have been a bit tricky!
