Couldn't resist posting this one!

My post of June 24 'A dusty piece of history' was about a long forgotten plaque at Churchgate station. Apparently, someone at WR reads my blog (or so I flatter myself). Six pm yesterday, on my way home after an unusually fast Monday, what do I see?! Four people, A tall ladder, a long brush and my infamous plaque being scrubbed like there's no tomorrow! I don't know whether it's my blog that inspired the clean-up; perhaps WR just decided out of the blue to do its bit for India Shining - but it's TOO much of a coincidence.

However, since my life has been one long series of incredible coincidences after another, I shouldn't really read much into it. What matters is that it got cleaned up. Whether I or someone else was responsible isn't important.
