A Blissful Saturday.

Yay. Another weekend has begun well. Yesterday was a great day in fact! Cleared the visa paperwork. I simply worry for nothing. Mr.R's habits are contagious! Well, alls well that ends well etc etc..

This morning has gone well too. Had a v.v.v.high calorie breakfast that started with a ummmmm delicious chocolate at 8 am, fresh from the Taj. Mmmmmmmmm. Had to make up for all the exercising that has been going on... Bad for my rep to be disciplined (what a great excuse!)

Gave Mum's room a total makeover by just changing a few things. Am very pleased with myself for that. Good job! I love doing this and somewhere deep down I know that if I take this up as a career I will be damn good at it! One more thing on my never ending list of things to do before I die (55 things as of now..)

A day and a half more. So much to do! I'm feeling happy enough today to want to take on the rest of the world. But right now, I think I'll go take a nap. The world can wait a while.

A Post Nap Update: spent the rest of the 'noon destroying the past. Decided to clear the clutter; bit by bit shredded old crushes, some grief, lots of good memories... old diaries and notebooks full of 'poetry' are such funny things - even years later you know exactly what you meant when you wrote those cryptic verses, which really don't make any logical sense today, but still...I'm so glad that phase is over!

Another interesting thing about diaries is that you notice how your handwriting changes over the years. I used to have a beautiful neat handwriting - perhaps it was those years where one used a fountain pen that caused the neat and precise alphabets. As I tore up the pages of the past today, I notice the writing changing with time, now neat, now slanting, now middle of the line, more rounded (like the changing Me, I guess!!). These days I can only say that it has seen better days! Maybe I should get a fountain pen and ask Mr.R if my letters to him seem any different (yes, we send each other handwritten letters - but that's another post altogether :))

The evening went by after we (Mom & I) successfully locked ourselves out of the house and we had to get a keymaker to make us a key. That done, we went out shopping and got soaked in an unexpected shower. A good way to end a nice enough Saturday.

A chocolate before bedtime and it'll have been a perfect day!

Yawn.
