Some sites to look at...
These are some sites I've found during my travels on the Web.
http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ : Claims to be part of a community art project where people post their secrets on a homemade postcard. If you take a look at the posts, there may be times, when you think "That's my secret...". They say sharing things can be cathartic. And sometimes, knowing that others feel the same way can be more comforting than you would imagine. Either way, the site is an insight into people's behaviour and lives. Another voyeristic gimmick? Perhaps. I like the site anyway and I think its a great idea.
http://www.rediffmail.com/cgi-bin/red.cgi?red=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eapassionforpeace%2Ecom : Found this site thru a writer's newsletter. The project is on till the end of the year and they want people to write a piece on some aspect of cultivating peace (from inner peace to world peace), be it a poem, article, short story, song, or one-act play, and then submit it, read it, sing it, print it, post it, or share it with others in another way, before December 31, 2005. If this appeals to you, give it a shot. Personally, although I may write something for the site, I won't be willing to bet that it makes a dent into world politics, but heck, it's the thought that counts, right?
