(Pipe) Dreams for 2006
It is exactly a week since we are back from our trip. With the jetlag firmly under control, Mr R and I have gone back to the life we've been living this past year - work, music, writing and running in the cold.
For the first time in many years, I have not had the time to make my list of New Year Resolutions. My 'list' is usually atleast a page long and includes the usual promises to myself to lose weight, be nice etc etc. This is also the time I review my 'List of things to do before I die', but that one's back home, crammed in a drawer somewhere. That's the price you pay when you have a foot in Europe and the other in Asia. Maybe I'll just update my entry on http://www.43things.com/ instead.
Some (pipe?)dreams for 2006 include (besides the usual suspects):
- Run and complete a race
- Cut my hair short(er)
Writing Goals
-Take my writing seriously.
- Send atleast one query a week. That way, by the end of each month there will be a minimum of 4 queries floating around in addition to the ones already out there.
- Complete and publish my first e-book by Easter.
- Focus on making Writers Bloc a thriving e-group to make up for my absence in India.
There. Now that I've declared my plans to the universe, I'd better stick to them. What's on your list this year?

In case you are short of ideas, here are some ways to get you going :
http://www.my50.co.uk/50list.php
100 things to do before I die
100 things to do in 1001 days
The Guardian's list of 100 things to do before you die
For the artists out there, try this
If you are one, or know an under-10, see this
And when you run out of ideas completely, you'll surely find some more here
Have fun and good luck with your life!
