A (very) late night post.
It's twenty two minutes past midnight.
I've just sent off an essay for an anthology. The deadline looms large.
Tomorrow is the day Ms AR comes to stay for a few weeks. It's off to Heathrow early in the am.
Mr R is fast asleep. The remainder of 'Spy Game' tapes itself out on the recorder. With technology we no longer have to miss the ending of a film just because we have other plans.
The weather has been very erratic lately - from a warm 32 degrees on Monday to heavy rains and flooding over Tuesday/Wednesday. Temperatures today are 15 degrees. The brollies had to be dug out again, along with the temporarily abandoned long sleeves.
00:28 - The credits roll up. Time to say goodnight to the hunks, the laptop and catch up on some sleep.
May you have a good night too.
That British weather cannot make up its mind is a truer thing than any other. But the last week and a half have been better than the preceding few wintery months. Catch the sun when you can!
