Dust off that manuscript...

It's that time of the year again!

November is National Novel Writing Month 2006 (www.NaNoWriMo.org). I have participated the last two years and if I get a brainwave, maybe this year too. I'm hopeless at fiction, though. It just doesn't interest me. I have walked away and abandoned my characters without remorse - I have no qualms about doing that.

What I may do this time, is not write a novel, but work on completing my cook-book for reluctant cooks (like yours truly). Does that count?

50,000 words to complete in 30 days. This may be the incentive I truly need.

Will check with NaNoWriMo and see what they have to say. Maybe I'll participate anyway - whether it qualifies as a novel or not...
