Not a minute to waste...

The marchers at Saturday's rally were followed by an army - of cleaners. As the last of the protesters trickled down the road towards Piccadilly Circus, they were shadowed by men and machines of the City of Westminster. Within seconds, dustbins full of posters and sticks were emptied, the roads washed and swept, debris picked up.

Order was once again restored to this famous London street. Within minutes, all trace of the rally had been wiped out and the streets & the pavements were back to their shining London selves.

I couldn't help but marvel at the efficiency and speed of it all.
