Consider this

What if this planet we call home, really isn't?

If we had the confirmation that we were really from someother place and we're here on Earth for a specific period of time with a specific purpose/mission, does the way we look at life change?

What if our bodies are just an image to merge with the rest of the inhabitants of this funny planet? What if we can choose the shape of our bodies to blend in as we wish? Thinner when we want to look nice, attract people to us; a little taller, shorter, plumper, rounder, sleeker as and when we want to be.... Would this knowledge change the way we limit ourselves in changing our appearances not only through the use of make-up and clothes , but the way we treat our physical selves too?

What if we KNOW for sure that our intellect is far superior to that of the human race? How would that change the way we interact with people at work, at home, on the street? What if the "Lease-a-Life" company actually exists on a nearby galaxy? We choose who we want to be, lease out that character for a particular period of time and enjoy this vacation on this water filled planet. As long as we keep the knowledge alive somewhere that someday this 'lease' will end and we can then go back to where we came from. Back to the place we can truly call home; where our real families live - our soulmates from this life and other lifetimes....

We could live our lives with freedom, secure in the knowledge that we are not part of this mad mass of people, stuck in their matchbox houses and matchbox transportation. We could live out every monsoon dreaming of our own planet where it rains, but water does not accumulate in potholes or streets and makes a mess - the rain falls only till a certain level and does not touch the ground. It reaches the ground only where it's supposed to : in lakes, the ocean, rivers and where plants and animals live. Railway tracks, roads and homes on the ground floor are all exempted. Of course, on my planet, we don't really have outdated means of transportation like railway tracks (that's SO prehistoric!). We have thought-travel. Think about going someplace and voila! you are there! No crumpling of clothes, no mara-mari, no speed vaulting into running trains. No hassle!

I miss home! :-)
