Wok the Talk

It was a 'wok' in the park.

Mr R and I went to see Ken Hom in action at the local John Lewis store this afternoon. This was inspite of watching him on ITV this morning on Saturday Cooks. Mr R and I are both fans of the man - his simple, easy stir-fry recipes are life savers. Infact, just last night, I rescued a wilting courgette by stirring up a 'Courgette and Chilli' stir-fry. I added my own twist to it but sprinkling some mushrooms to it, but it turned out well in the end!

At the demo, we asked him a couple of questions, got an autograph on our (old, splattered with groundnut/sesame oil) copy of his recipe book, tasted the food he dished out, and then bought a KH wok to complete the day.

Mr R celebrated by cooking a fish stir-fry for dinner.
